Yes, our long-awaited CD is finally a reality! It features 14 tunes, starting with our tale of the American Dream (circa 1849), Fiddletown, and ending with a good-ol' banjo tune conjured up on Uncle Tim's Bridge in Cape Cod. In between, we've got some tunes from the Caribbean, some bluegrass gospel, a couple instrumentals, blues and ballads, and lots of harmony. Come on out to one of our CD release shows or order it online:
Donna Sanborn took some photos at last summer's Ossipee Valley Music Festival and we've posted a few on our photos page.
The "second generation" of Space kids is doing well. Jason (Anick) took some time off from his touring with John Jorgenson Quintet to add some fine fiddle to our CD. Check out his genre-bending "new acoustic jazz" group with fiddle, mandolin, piano, sax, drums and bass.
Sierra Carlen, who sang a tune with us at Canobie Lake this summer, is turning into a fine singer and song writer.
Multi-instrumentalist Haley Nelson also just keeps getting better and better on her many "axes".
Peter taught one of his favorite subjects - composing fiddle tunes - at Fiddle Hell in Concord, MA last November. You can contact Peter for private fiddle and mandolin lessons at email@example.com.
